Welcome to the world - The Choice

It's out, The Choice is now available and selling online and in bookshops and I couldn't be happier or more delighted. It's the culmination of eight years hard work and a life-long dream.

It feels a little surreal, as though I'm still in the dream, but the pictures everyone keeps sending me of their copies of The Choice makes it feel more and more real.

This author and book is that for me. Claire Wade’s novel THE CHOICE releases today. This novel is already being compared to The Handmaid’s Tale. It’s about a dystopian world where the government oversteps, in an attempt to keep us all healthy, and baking and sugar are illegal... . On a personal level, I am amazed and awed to see a fellow author with chronic disease overcome as she has, after having been bed bound with severe ME for 6 years (all in her Goodreads bio). To not only publish a novel, but it’s already an award winner (Good Housekeeping competition). . And yup those are my mums mince pies! She insisted I sift icing sugar on before I used them as a prop □ And don’t worry, no wastage; they will soon be eaten!
