Disability Activism

I never set out to become a disability activist, but looking back I realised that I've been active within the disability community since I was sixteen. I started out trying to raise awareness and understanding of ME/CFS, through setting up local support networks and volunteering with a charity for young people with ME.  

More recently, I co-founded Authors with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (ADCI) and I guest edited The Disability Issue of The Bookseller.
